Dear Musicians, dear Friends!

we are very happy to announce the IYSO 2021 .

Hopefully you all are still healthy and safe in these very crazy times.

Thank you so much for your support and input by sending videos to complete the IYSO 2020 online edition. You can find the full video here .

Let`s cross our fingers that we will meet each other again in person this autumn to pefrom the outstanding music by Johannes Brahms. This year's program consists of the following pieces:

Brahms - Variations on a theme by Haydn

Brahms / Glanert- 4 Preludes and Serious Songs, Op. 121

Brahms / Schönberg - Piano Quartet in G minor op.25

The International Youth Symphony Orchestra 2021 will take place from October 14th (day of arrival and first evening rehearsal) to October 25th (day of departure) 2021. Concerts will be held on October 23th and 24th. The Artistic Director is Martin Lentz.

Young musicians from all over the world will take part in this project and you are hereby invited to participate.

All participants will stay with host families. Lunch and dinner will be held together with the other musicians. You will be fully insured by “Jugendhaus Düsseldorf” insurance and you will be given a ticket for public transport in Bremen.

The participation fee is € 90.00. You will have to cover your own travel expenses.

Please fill out the registration form on this website. It's the only way to register! We will confirm your participation as soon as possible. Please transfer the participation fee after confirmation, this ensures that you can take part. If you do not transfer the fee in advance, we might give your place to a different musician.
