"We have a long-standing friendship with the Bremen Youth Symphony Orchestra. Every concert in which our musicians play podium to podium next to the young people is a special building block for the musical but also the personal development of the young people with whom we share our passion for classical music - we do this out of deep conviction and are aware of our great responsibility. We are particularly impressed every time by the professionalism and the very high level with which the young colleagues are well prepared for a joint concert project It fills me and the entire orchestra with sincere pleasure that we can put a clear exclamation mark behind our attachment to the youth symphony orchestra through Tutti pro. "

Our tutti-pro partner: The Bremen Philharmonic
On the initiative of Jeunesses Musicales Germany , youth orchestras and professional orchestras have been brought together since 2006. The German Orchestra Association and the Association of German Music Schools are further organizational partners.
Together with the “ Bremen Philharmonic ” we perform as a mixed ensemble usually once a year - most recently often in the Bremen “ Theater am Goetheplatz ” as part of musically thrilling family and school concerts.
In joint rehearsals, in which a philharmonic orchestra usually supports one of us young people, we prepare a few pieces or excerpts from larger works, which are combined into a major musical-dramatic theme.
For us it is always a fantastic and exciting experience to be able to make music with professional musicians. In addition, this collaboration always brings us a little further musically, as you can learn a lot and the program usually consists of more demanding pieces.
In March 2015, the sponsorship between the Bremen Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra, which had existed since 2001, was sealed in a ceremony. The representatives of the umbrella organizations for Jeunesses Musicales Germany (JMD), the German Orchestra Association (DOV) and the Association of German Music Schools (VdM) presented the 50th nationwide “tutti pro” orchestra sponsorship certificate for a connection between a youth and a professional orchestra in the rehearsal room of the Philharmonic.
We would like to thank the members of the Bremen Philharmonic for the wonderful and helpful collaboration on joint projects and as register lecturers. Special thanks are due to the Philharmonic drummer Marko Gartelmann as coordinator of this cooperation. " For the Bremen Philharmonic it is a wonderful and important task to accompany the young musicians of the JSO in their musical development - because only a tradition that is conveyed and lived is a living one." (Marko Gartelmann)
